Tomewick is a free, open-source library of scrolls and prompt generator for any AI model. Find a template, fill in the blanks, and copy a polished prompt, all inside a quiet medieval scriptorium.

What it does
The Forge
Fill in a template's Runes, pick a tone or length, see the result update as you type, then copy it into the AI tool you already use.
Your Grimoire
Keep favorites and collections on your own device. Export them as Markdown or JSON whenever you like; nothing is locked in.
Counsel of the Sage (planned)
Later releases will help write and improve prompts using a model you choose, including models that run entirely on your own computer.
Quest-giver for a story
Create an engaging fictional quest-giver in this setting: {{setting}}. Give the character a motivation, a short dialogue, a quest, and a fitting reward.
The highlighted Rune is what you fill in. The Forge does the rest.
Principles
- Free and open. The code is licensed Apache-2.0 and the templates are public domain under CC0, so anyone can use, share and build on them.
- Private by default. Tomewick runs in your browser. There is no account to create, and this site sets no cookies and loads no trackers.
- Works with any model. The output is plain text you can paste anywhere. Running prompts against a model will always be optional.
- Theme is a skin, not a barrier. Prefer ordinary words? The Plain Speech switch at the top of this page shows how every themed term has a plain one.
